CraftHub is a spinoff and reimagination of the Tech Budapest conferences founded by Prezi & IBM Budapest Labs (formerly Ustream). Our mission is making knowledge available and helping tech crafters to continuously improve their skills. Today, this organization is a multifaceted IT event management company with a diverse portfolio of conferences / hackathons / developer competitions / workshops, both online and offline.

Your future responsibilities:

You will be responsible for increasing the volume of sold tickets related to our conferences and other specialized events.

Ticket sales related responsibilities:

  • Working as a member of the sales team
  • Conference ticket sales for large-scale buyers & sponsors
    • Expanding the database of large-scale ticket buyers
  • Lead generation: collecting and evaluating potential sales opportunities
  • Managing the ticket handling system to overview all event tickets
  • Conducting mass email campaigns to reach out to existing database
  • Cooperation with the marketing team to improve B2B marketing campaigns
  • Collaborating with the finance team to handle billing and receivables
  • Tracking related KPI spreadsheets to follow sales results
  • Creating additional documents like whitepapers and onepagers enhancing ticket sales

Communication-related responsibilities:

  • Direct communication to participants during the events
    • Manage hello@ email and other communication channels
    • Answering participant questions
    • Communicating important information (via direct messages or email)
  • Take part in the event’s registration process with ticket-related information sharing

Essential Experience / Qualifications:

  • Active student status
  • Ability to work at least 25-30 hours a week according to the agreed schedule
  • Native Hungarian speaker with working fluency in English
  • Experience in using communication platforms (intermediate level)
  • Proactive approach and problem-solving attitude
  • Flexible, able to work alone and as part of a team
  • Precision and reliability
  • Your student organizational experience is an advantage but not a condition
  • Technical background is an advantage, but not a condition
