The GDE MIT Hackathon is an intensive, ~30-hour offline innovation marathon that empowers participants to harness the power of AI to create solutions with real impact in healthcare and education. Organized by CraftHub and hosted at Gábor Dénes University in Budapest, the event brings together around 100 participants, from experienced developers to ambitious newcomers. Working in teams, they tackle real-world challenges designed by GDE MIT experts. Over two days, teams brainstorm, develop, and refine their ideas before presenting their solutions to a professional jury, with the most outstanding projects receiving valuable prizes and recognition.
