About the company:

CraftHub is a spinoff and reimagination of the Tech Budapest conferences founded by Prezi & IBM Budapest Labs (formerly Ustream). Our mission is making knowledge available and helping tech crafters to improve their skills continuously. Today, this organization is a multifaceted IT event management company with a diverse portfolio of conferences/hackathons/developer competitions/workshops, both online and offline.

Our goal is to deliver the best online & offline events that we can, and that is available in this industry!

You’re someone who is a self-starter, motivated, and able to play as part of a team that relies on each other for success. This is a sales position. You’ll be expected to be responsible for generating revenue for our events. This is a key role for the success and we expect you to not just sell a list of packages but find ways to create value not only for CraftHub but the sponsors and further develop the reputation of our events as the best in Europe.

Tasks that you will take on:

Partnership-related responsibilities:

  • Selling sponsorship deals to local and European partners
  • Winning and managing new accounts/partners
  • Growing revenue from existing sponsors
  • Working with the event team to make sure our sponsors get full value from their sponsorship so they will sponsor us again next year
  • Working with the team to develop the current sponsor packages we sell, as well as the promotional material used in the sales process
  • CRM system administration and information management
  • Seeking out and developing out-of-the-box partnerships that can bring value to our events. 
  • Nurturing sponsors to prepare them for the event itself

Essential Experience / Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of sales experience preferably in events
  • Native Hungarian speaker with working fluency in English
  • Occasionally willing to travel to sponsors for sales
  • Flexible, able to work alone and as part of a team
  • Ability to work independently
