About the company:

CraftHub is a spinoff and reimagination of the Tech Budapest conferences founded by Prezi & IBM Budapest Labs (formerly Ustream). Our mission is making knowledge available and helping tech crafters to improve their skills continuously. Today, this organization is a multifaceted IT event management company with a diverse portfolio of conferences/hackathons/developer competitions/workshops, both online and offline.

Our goal is to deliver the best online & offline events that we can, and that is available in this industry!

Responsibilities:

  • Speaker coordination (coordinating 60-80+ conference speakers parallelly) ○ Be the main point of contact for conference and workshop speakers
    • Prepare documentation and speaker roadmaps
    • Collect assets (contracts, documents, personal and talk details, etc…) from speakers
    • Inform speakers about conference details
    • Share discount codes, advertisement material, and guides with speakers
    • Organize the flights for our speakers (discuss details, collect data, book tickets, etc…)
    • Be the main point of contact for our partner hotels
    • Organize accommodation for our speakers (discuss details, collect data, book rooms, etc…)
    • Organize airport transfer for our speakers
    • Help our finance team in the management of the payment of speakers
    • Collaborate with our IT technicians to ensure each talk’s technical requirements are fulfilled
    • Manage speaker gifts and activities (sightseeing, dinner, etc…)
    • Create and send out the speaker feedback form
    • Speaker process improvement continuously
  • Workshop coordination:
    • Discuss workshop details with speakers
    • Find a venue for workshops
    • Manage catering for workshops
    • Inform attendees about workshop details
    • Be the main point of contact for workshop attendees
    • Work on the organization of meetups (if necessary)
  • Execute administrative tasks related to speaker and workshop coordination
  • Constantly develop and renew processes related to speaker and workshop coordination
  • Keep tracking your time spent on the assignment weekly
  • Participate in the weekly team calls and status meetings

Our Expectations:

  • Ongoing student status

  • Ability to work at least 30 hours a week

  • Native Hungarian speaker with advanced active English (certified exam is not required)

  • Proactive approach, can-do mindset and problem-solving attitude

  • Student organizational experience is an advantage but not a condition
