Gergely Szertics – CEO at Artificial Intelligence Partners Kft.- is a distinguished figure in the field of artificial intelligence with a decade of experience under his belt. He founded his AI development company before branching into AI advisory services and educating others about the potential of AI at the Frankfurt School of Finance and Management. Notably, between 2018 and 2020, he led the AI Coalition responsible for crafting Hungary’s artificial intelligence strategy. His passion lies in bridging the gap between AI technology and everyday applications, and he even hosted the TV2 show, “Mesterséges: Intelligencia.” In his talk, AI Introduction in the Light of Organizational AI Maturity, Gergely introduces a comprehensive organizational AI maturity model, dissecting the most common levels of readiness. With practical examples, he guides attendees on how to initiate and, importantly, sustainably continue developing their organizational AI capabilities. 

Konstantin Klemmer, – postdoctoral researcher at Microsoft Research New England – will immerse you in the world of geospatial phenomena representation in machine learning. His research focuses on deploying machine learning methods in urban environments and addressing climate change challenges. As a board member of Climate Change AI, he’s at the forefront of combining machine learning and climate change efforts. In his talk, “Foundation Models in the Geospatial Domain,” Konstantin will introduce you to Geospatial Foundation Models. These models have the potential to revolutionize both private and public sectors by harnessing globally available data and creating meaningful representations of Earth’s every location. Join this visionary discussion about the transformative impact of Geospatial Foundation Models.

Katherine Cass, – senior engineering manager of AI/ML Platform Quality at Salesforce – will take you beyond conventional discussions of model quality. Leading scrum teams for Quality Engineering, Tooling, Test Framework Development, AI/ML Support, and Quality Observability/Monitoring for the AI/ML platform at Salesforce, Katherine understands the intricacies of AI/ML platforms. Her talk, “Beyond Model Quality: Approaching Fullstack Quality Assurance of AI/ML Platforms (within large organizations),” explores the challenges of ensuring quality and reliability in AI/ML platforms beyond just the model.
